This mid 20th century US Military history print features the five Sullivan brothers - George, Francis, Joseph, Madison and Albert - on board the USS Juneau, where they were all serving together and were killed in action when the ship sank. On November 13, 1942, The USS Juneau was struck by a Japanese torpedo while it was near the Solomon Islands, it exploded and sank, taking with the five Sullivan brothers along with the rest of the crew.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
