Beautiful painting from a world of mystery. Thought provoking imagery inspires the following: My restless, sleepless night draws me again to the tower just before sunrise. The damp morning dew glistens upon the gargoyles joining me in my gaze upon the silent rooftops of those more fortunate. The tower bell resonates in soft throbs within my ears as the gentle breeze sways its thick clapper. As my heart weighs heavy in distant thoughts, I'm distracted from my worries by a soft angelic sigh beside me, her presence revealed with a gentle stretch of her wings. Excellent and recommended. Need I say more?

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
