The Russian Moon Landing Poster
A shiny, golden fractal image, sort of a cross between a Fresnel lens and a bird cage, represent a Soviet-era lunar landing module. The image is superimposed on an a background resembling the dark side of the moon and stars. Russian text reading "Лунный корабль" - moon ship, or lunar ship, also appears, bracketing a red star. Add your own text.
The Soviet Union developed a lunar lander intending to land two cosmonauts on the moon before the United States could do so. The vehicle was successfully tested in earth orbit four times. Development problems with the rocket intended to take it to the moon led to the cancelation of the USSR's manned lunar program.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
