Art in its purest form, is a creation that honours God. Triumphant Christ, victorious over death, powerfully emerges from his earthly tomb. He is worshipped and praised by the angels who guarded his temporary resting place. Daffodils (representing hope and renewal) spring from the opening behind him. The hard stone that once contained him breaks under his emergence. In the right foreground a soldier’s helmet lies empty on the broken slab. The stigmata and stab wounds are visible in his hands and side. The angels adoringly look to him as he looks to his Father in the Heavens. Triumph, majesty, power and victory resound throughout this piece. Bloch has successfully captured a moment of true miracle and holiness.

The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee.
Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
