Quoth the Raven nevermore. As a child Poe was one of the few scary books I was allowed to read. I still enjoy listening to Vincent Price reading this work. Price was from my home town of St. Louis and his work was celebrated in my little city. The Poe story that scared me most though was The Tell Tale Heart. On top of all that I am a huge fan of bird watching and I love to watch crows and ravens. They have a special dance that you don't see in other birds and can be quite comical to watch. Their sleek iridescent black feathers are so beautiful and special.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
