The Order of Christ T-Shirt

"The Order of Christ (Ordo Militiae Jesu Christi – 1319), successor to the Knights Templar in Portugal, led the maritime voyages of discovery in the 15th century. The caravels of the Portuguese navigations, including those that arrived in Brazil, carried the Cross of the Order of Christ stamped on their sails. Non nobis Domine, non nobis, sed Nomini Tuo da Gloriam (Psalm 113,9) is Latin and means: “Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory”. It is a small prayer of thanksgiving and also an expression of sincere humility, when one refuses thanks for having done one's duty or for having done something in the service of or out of love for God."
