The Nutcracker: Frau Stahlbaum Greeting Card
The Nutcracker is a classic tale told through dance. Frau Stahlbaum, Clara's mother is dressed for her family's fancy Christmas party. Her dress is a beautiful green, with black velvet, green plaid, and red and gold trim, and she carries a matching mask. This costume rendering was part of my thesis project in graduate school, and the design pairs perfectly with the other costumes in my Nutcracker collection. Frau Stahlbaum is sure to delight the ballerina in your life, or even a dance teacher.
