The New Big Sister - Notes to the Baby - Notebook

While talking to my wonderful friend on the phone today (who doesn't know I'm writing this, but she'll get a notebook ... : ), she was telling me about her GrandDaughter who is exactly what I would have wished for a daughter and GrandDaughter. The stories sort of remind me of the character Eloise (and that's exactly the precocious little one I'd have loved to have as my own). Everyone is preparing this little cutie for the arrival of a new baby brother ... aka another child in the family to share everyone's attention ... meaning she is no longer the only one ... : ) She has her sparkly pink Big Sister shirt, her baby doll she is taking care of with tender loving care, and apparently she has named the younger brother to be already as she announced to some at church this week. His name will be Yogurt Porkchops. I decided to make this notebook for her to start making notes for her new baby brother... to let him know a bit about her .... what not to touch of hers and what she'll be willing to share, maybe MeMaw cooks a really great meal she loves that he'll look forward to (and MeMaw kayaks and goes camping .... fun things), to not eat rocks ... the basics ... Mummy's favourite things and good stories about Daddy and GrandDaddy ... probably that she came first (and not to worry since she'll most likely remind him later), that no matter what the birth certificate says, his name is actually Yogurt Porkchops ... and that he's a really lucky guy to have such a special sister to always love him ... : ) So ... as soon as I get her photo, I'm customising this for her, and you can do the same for yourself!
