This is a photo I took of the National Museum Wales in Cardiff on an Early spring day in 2007 when the trees on Museum Avenue which runs along side the Museum were casting these amazing shadows on the Architecture. Although I originally shot this in colour it's an example of a subject that works a million times better in black and white, which seems to give it a dramatic cinematic feel almost like a scene from an Alfred Hitchock movie perhaps.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
