The Mountains

There is nothing like the exhilaration of reaching a mountaintop with the earth at our feet stretching out for as far as we can see. It seems to me that the harder it is to reach the top the better the view. In the obtainment of goals and dreams the world celebrates with us just as these spirits from the Four Corners of the globe come to celebrate with this particular mountain climber. He/she leaves a Spanish poem in his/her footprints on the way up the mountain. The poem captures this feeling of celebration as well as the echo of love that the world gives in response to our love. The mountain covered in cloth in the background is a celebration of the artist Cristo and all art that inspires us to think and relate to our world in a new way.

This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
