In The Tale of the Heike, Yokobue, a maidservant of Empress Dowager Kenrei-mon’in, is loved by Saito Tokiyori, a retainer of Shigemori. Social constraints prevented Tokiyori from pursuing Yokobue, leading him to renounce the world and retreat to Horinji Temple in Sagano. Heartbroken, Yokobue returned in tears, with some accounts suggesting she entered Hokke-ji Temple or drowned herself. Yoshitoshi’s One Hundred Aspects of the Moon depicts this tragedy using seasonal imagery and a hazy moon, enhancing its emotional depth. The tale reflects spiritual transformation, female resilience, and noh drama's peaceful resolutions, captivating audiences with its enduring themes.

I was given a small budget to decorate a free clinic. I ordered many of the posters from Zazzle because I could select various sizes that fit frames we could re-purpose. The quality of the printing is fine and there's a wide selection of subjects and styles to choose from. The paper quality on most of the items I ordered was decent. For some reason, though, the Ibis poster on "Perfect Poster (Glossy Finish)" is on very flimsy paper. It'll look fine when framed, but I would upgrade the paper choice if I did this over again. The image quality, colors, and printing quality were fine -exactly what I expected.
