The Model Thank You Card

What we have here is a marvellous old Victorian print of a very attractive lady, over whose right shoulder stands a shadowy gentleman holding a book, and behind her left shoulder a mirror. The print was entitled ‘The Model.’ Unlike today’s models, this one is rather voluptuous, which is all to the good. By the by, I recently was the VERY lucky recipient of a tonne of 19th century bound magazines, all full to bursting with marvellous prints like this, and found - of all places - in a Goodwill store.
