    Vintage illustration religious Renaissance Era fine art reproduction painting of the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci. The Last Supper was the last meal Jesus Christ shared with his twelve apostles and disciples before his death. The Last Supper specifically portrays the reaction given by each apostle when the young man Jesus Christ said one of them would betray him. Leonardo da Vinci created The Last Supper (c. 1495–1498) for his patron Duke Ludovico Sforza and his duchess Beatrice d'Este. The original painting is a mural on the back wall of the dining hall at Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan, Italy.
