The Jerusalem Cross - Gold Beveled Edition... The Jerusalem Cross, one of my favourite designs and I am sure it will be one of your favourites too.. The Jerusalem Cross is also know as : The Crusaders' Cross and as The Heraldic Cross .. The 5 Pointed star is supposed to symbolise the 5 wounds Christ received at His Crucifixion. The symbol is an adaptation of coat of arms that Godfrey of Bouillon wore during the 1st Crusade and was later adapted and worn by the Knights in the Kingdom of Jerusalem for a period of of almost 200 years.
