The Heirloom Guard Nutcracker Poster
A tall hand-painted wooden nutcracker soldier in matte wine-red and antique gold stands on a linen-draped sideboard beside sugared pears, plums, walnuts and pine, lit by soft winter-morning light against a deep pine-green wall. This original painterly still life has a quiet, matte brushwork surface in wine burgundy, pine green, linen cream and matte gold, so the figure feels like a treasured heirloom rather than a holiday cartoon. It warms an entryway console, a dining sideboard or a mantel through the Christmas season, and it brings calm nostalgic welcome without looking like a greeting card. A thoughtful gift for a mother, grandmother or friend who collects nutcrackers.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
