The Happy Buddha...Prosperity and Abundance
He is also popularly known as the “Laughing Buddha” due to his laughing or smiling countenance.
Hotei or Pu-Tai is better known as the Laughing Buddha. The image of Hotei is based on a Chinese Zen monk who lived over 1000 years ago. Many regarded him as a future Buddha because of his benevolent nature. It was due to his large protruding stomach and smile that he came to be known as the Laughing Buddha.

This arrived So Much faster than I was expecting. I left plenty of time for international shipping and then didn't need it. I wasn't sure how the image would turn out (have never bought a notebook from Zazzle before). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the image.
