The Great Eastern at the End Poster

This images shows Brunel's Great Iron Ship at the end of her life. She spend her last days as a floating bill. This picture originally showed the ship with huge lettering painted on her side, reading "LADIES should visit...." something I could not read. I found the signage undignified for such an important vessel, so I made it go away. What you're left with is a clean image of the Great Eastern. Note the sidewheel tender at her side.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
