Composed in Photoshop and Twisted Brush. Original image was Black and white, a purchased vintage image.
Cats eye was coloured, image was altered using stippling brushes. Layers, adjustments, and filters, used, textures for depth.
Textures are all original from watercolor paper and crumbled, burned manilla papers.

This picture stopped my dead in my tracks. It's colors are so warm and the features draw you into the cats mind. What are you looking at or what are you thinking. Cat lovers know that look and the artist got it on canvas. It's so beautiful. I have really no real art to mention on my wall. When I saw the artsy posters I thought I could afford this and finally get some classy pictures up on the walls. I love cats and bought a grouping and am planning on embelishing colors and paint to pop with the tones in this picture. The only thing I feel like I wish I did, was to get a little bigger size because it's so gorgeous. I have no pictures but it so fantastic.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
