This is The Finding of Moses painted by Lawrence Alma-Tadema in 1904. The original is 84 x 54 in inches. This image is the most accurate of all the images available of this privately owned painting. It surfaced when the painting was sold by Sotheby's in 2010. First: it is the entire image; then it faces in the correct direction; just look to the right at the cartouche of Ramesses ll under the urn or on the left at the artist signature near the feet of the statue of Seti II located in the British Museum and last but not least, the Pyramids of Giza are visible in the background on the right.
