About This Design
The Fall of Man; Adam and Eve by Titian
The Fall of Man; Adam and Eve (c. 1570) by Titian is a vintage Renaissance fine art religious portrait painting featuring Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Eve is reaching for an apple from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. A serpent (or snake) tempted Eve, who was aware of the prohibition against eating the forbidden fruit.
Peter Paul Rubens made a reproduction of this piece in 1628/1629, which includes a parrot in the tree that the original does not.
About the artist:
Tiziano Vecelli or Tiziano Vecellio (1488/1490-1576) better known as Titian was an Italian painter and a leader of 16th century Venetian school of the Italian Renaissance. He was born in Pieve di Cadore and was often called Da Cadore, taken from the place of his birth.

Lovely quality cards. Nice to get a real traditional Chrismassy theme in Australia, not the beach and Australian animals stuff. Excellent, would use again
