Our Blessed Lord's crucifixion, there were two other men suffering the same death, one to either side of Him. The one to Christ's right has become known as the “Good Thief,” while the one to His left is referred to as the “Unrepentant Thief.” Jesus was nailed to the cross with his arms stretched wide. The nails were so strong that Jesus hung there until he died. At the moment of Jesus' death, the curtain hanging in the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split apart, the graves broke open, and many of God's people who had died were raised to life.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
