Hieronymus Bosch 1500s The Conjurer is a Hieronymus Bosch painting from the 1500s. It is currently in the Musée Municipal in St.-Germain-en-Laye. It is worth noting that, while the conjurer on the right of the image is the central character, the true focus of the image is on the left—where the bespectacled character is stealing the observer's money purse. The child by the table is holding a stick which identifies him as the Christ Child (the same figure appears in Bosch's work Christ Child with a Walking Frame). I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
