When someone tailgates you, they are creating an unsafe situation not only for themselves, but for you and your passengers, as well. Until the absolute cure for tailgating comes along, the safest practice is simply to decrease your speed to compensate for the lack of space between yourself and the person behind you. If you employ this sticker, as well, you will be sure to let the person behind you know that they will get to where they are going much faster if they will simply drive safely, as they are supposed to. If they do not understand, then at least you will both be much safer, driving at a lower speed, while they get their tailgating fix.
