About This Design
"The Captive Charger", by Karl Ferdinand Wimar Case-Mate Samsung Galaxy S8 Case
"The Captive Charger" a beautiful image of Indians on the move in the warm glow of sundown's fading light ...personalise it with your initials.... by Karl Ferdinand Wimar (also known as Charles Wimar and Carl Wimar) 1828 to 1862... Wimar was a German-American painter who concentrated on Native Americans in the West and the great herds of buffalo……. Born in Siegburg, Germany, Wimar immigrated to the United States at the age of 15 with his family. They settled in St. Louis, Missouri, which attracted numerous German immigrants in the major 19th century emigration………. In 1852 he went to the Düsseldorf Academy to study with Emanuel Leutze, the painter of the famous work of art “George Washington Crossing the Delaware”……….. Among Wimar's most well-known works were murals painted in 1861 in the Rotunda of the St. Louis Court House.
