The Birth of Venus (Italian: Nascita di Venere) is a 1486 painting by Sandro Botticelli. Botticelli was commissioned to paint the work by the Medici family of Florence, specifically Lorenzo di Pierfrancesco de' Medici under the influence of his cousin Lorenzo de' Medici, close friend to Botticelli. It depicts the goddess Venus, having emerged from the sea as an adult woman, arriving at the sea-shore (which is related to the Venus Anadyomene motif). The painting is on display at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. This is a beautiful poem, I love having this poem to read and to know that one day I will see my beautiful puppy dog again. I love the idea of the rainbow bridge.
I think all pet owners will understand the love we share and have for our pets.
This is a sad poem but in a happy way. I will read this every day and think of my puppy dog. The poem is presented beautifully, with a beautiful background, and high quality paper.
