The Baptism of Christ by Nicolás Enríquez (1773) is a vintage Neoclassicism fine art religious painting commissioned by Juan Bautista Echeverría. Jesus Christ is being baptised in the Jordan River by Saint John the Baptist. God is above releasing a white dove. You can clearly see the drops of water poured on Christ’s head his feet are submerged in the flowing water of the river. An inscription in the bottom right corner reads "due to the devotion" of its owner.
