However, I kept my calm, and helped my friend the best I could, by calling the school myself, hoping to find someone answer, while my friend called, frantically searching for where her baby was. After calling around the school, they found the child, and they got the next available bus driver to bring the child home. I asked my friend, who allowed me to contact the school on Facebook, and I said that, although I empathised that conflicts with communication due to Covid were still being dealt with since the year before, that by now, I thought that they'd have a system in place for such things that could occur, as to not upset the student and parents / caregivers. I gave them some leeway, but still, I made myself clear that I was disappointed. I know that there are school districts with teachers who have bus duty. I was shocked that we had to go through different people at school to find the child. We still don't know if the school had a teacher bus duty "roster", or not. On a side note, I was trying to create a fill in forms, where educators and parents could type in all the info. I used a small size font, to fit all the info in.
