Taos Indian Holding a Water Jug (1911) by Blumenschein is a vintage American West fine art portrait painting. A New Mexico Native American Indian with a traditional headdress made of feathers holding a water jug.
About the artist:
Ernest Leonard Blumenschein (1874-1960) was an American artist. In 1897, during a Western trip he came to Taos, a territory of New Mexico. Struck by the sweeping landscapes and the diverse Native American, Spanish-American, and American cultures of the region, he determined then and there to work as a painter. He was a co-founder of the Taos Society of Artists and part of the Taos art colony which from 1898 was an important part of the life of Taos, New Mexico.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
