Michigan not normally a state known for its waterfalls but come visit us in the Upper Peninsula (UP) and we'll show you some good ones. Tahquamenon Falls is blessed with the lager upper falls featured here and a few miles down the road a smaller set, the lower falls. Many comment on the brown colour of the water but this is perfectly natural as sediment from the landscape is dissolved into the river. This is one of the most accessible waterfalls on the peninsula can is easy reached from I-75 once over the Mackinac Straight.
