I have selected the pearl finish paper and I have tested that you can write on it's surface with pretty much any pen. This is a flat printed invitation set, there are no raised, layered or embossed elements on it. However the graphic representation is very realistic in appearance. NOTE: I do NOT recommend the gold paper for this invitation, it will be too dark and heavy. The gold tone and any of the white or champagne coloured papers will give a golden appearance.
