Red velvet cupcakes, named so because they are red and taste like velvet. Cover anything in icing and it will probably taste pretty good, but that much dye, must leave a taste behind. But they are pretty, and are different looking than a common chocolate cupcake, or a yellow one. And if you like sweet things, and red is your favourite colour, these are perfect for you.
