Did you look to the night sky on Sunday, January 20, 2019 to see an amazingly large and brilliant full moon. This is the Super Wolf Moon, also referred to as a supermoon. The full moon in January is called a wolf moon, because legend has it that wolves were hungry and active during colonial times right after the first of the year. You might hear them howling in the clear night with their silhouettes visible atop the snow cover. The reason for the unusually large size is that the Moon just happens to be at its closest approach to the Earth at the time of the full moon. That coincidence has the nickname of supermoon, truly a super moon. There are multiple supermoons in 2019, others occurring on February 19 and march 21. This cheeky quokka napkin made the best of part conversation pieces. It seemed a shame to wipe one's face on it. Layer-upon-layer of meaning was slowly revealed in the quokka's expression and enigmatic body language as the cocktails started taking effect. The product arrived in a handy box so that dust did not gather on the napkins beforehand. This was an excellent, good-resolution representation of a quokka. The image was large and the animal nicely centered. The paper quality was also of an acceptable softness.
