The sunset reflecting onto the Bude Canal, Devon, Bude is situated on the Devon and Cornwall border. This unusual canal leads out to sea with a sea lock that is still in working order and had 6 incline planes leading inland to bring sand to fertilise the poor farming land as it had a lot of mineral in it that helped. The Bude canal was finished in 1823 and closed in 1891.
