According to some historians, the Sun of May represents Inti, the Incan god of the sun. The Sun of May is also linked to Sol Invictus ("The Unconquered Sun"), a Roman god that was identified with the Sun and was the main solar deity in the ancient Roman religion.

I was very impressed the plates were Beautifully done and got exactly what i ordered. The family had a pre Christmas get together, where the children come to decorate the tree. Once done the food platters come out and so did the plates. they were an absolute hit with the family so much so that nobody wanted to eat off them🥰 they made for a good conversational piece around the table.
