"Suffer the Little Children to Come Unto Me" -- by James Tissot Despite the protests of the disciples, Jesus blesses the little children who are brought to him. James Jacques Joseph Tissot (15 October 1836 – 8 August 1902) was a French painter, who spent much of his career in Britain. In 1885, Tissot experienced a re-conversion to Catholicism, which led him to spend the rest of his life illustrating the Bible. To assist in his completion of biblical illustrations, Tissot travelled to the Middle East in 1886, 1889, and 1896 to make studies of the landscape and people.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
