On a sunny but crisp late autumn afternoon, this stunning Northern Harrier did a close flyby by the photographer at the Boundary Bay Wildlife Management Area in late October 2019. Usually the adults like their personal space even more than the juveniles, so it was unusual that this female did not change course -- or perhaps she was so engrossed in her hunt that she didn't pay attention to me.
