STS 129 patch Mouse Pad
STS-129 (ISS assembly flight ULF3) is a planned space shuttle mission to the International Space Station (ISS) which is expected to be flown by Space Shuttle Atlantis. The launch date for the mission is scheduled for no earlier than November 12, 2009.[1] STS-129 will focus on staging spare components outside the station. The 15-day flight is scheduled to include at least three spacewalks. The payload bay will carry two large External Logistics Carriers holding two spare gyroscopes, two nitrogen tank assemblies, two pump modules, an ammonia tank assembly, a spare latching end effector for the station's robotic arm, a spare trailing umbilical system for the Mobile Transporter, and a high-pressure gas tank. The completion of this mission will leave five space shuttle flights remaining until the end of the program. This is the Print version of the logo. The experience buying from Zazzle was great -- the custom made product arrived much faster than I expected (I am in Australia) and they kept me updated with progress emails.
The product itself is good quality and I like the simplistic elegant design. The only criticism I have is that it's not really accurately represented by the picture provided. I thought that the mousepad would be a non-porous or laminate surface and as such the gold writing would actually shine against the soft pink. However the design is printed on a thick fabric surface, so the gold colour is just the shade of gold but doesn't stand out from the pink background. (See picture)
FYI the soft pink is stronger in real life than in my personal picture. Good quality printing, slightly different look to what I expected. It also smells quite strong on arrival but it's only been a day so this may fade.
