Still Life with L'Esperance (Hope)(1901) by Paul Gauguin is a vintage post impressionism fine art floral painting in warm autumn tones. Blooming summer sunflowers in a vase and a female figure of a native woman in the corner. About the artist: Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin (1848-1903) was a leader in the Post Impressionist movement which extended Impressionism while rejecting its limitations. They used vivid colours, thick application of paint, distinctive brushstrokes and real-life subject matter, but were more inclined to emphasize geometric forms and to use unnatural or arbitrary colour.

A lovely gift for a teacher would recommend. However, l am still waiting on other parts of this gift, meaning l won't be able to give this gift to the teacher as l am waiting for the gift card.
