A beautiful reproduction of "Still Life with Cheeses, Almonds and Pretzels" | Oil on panel | Date 1615 | Clara Peeters (1594 – 1657), was a still-life painter trained in the tradition of Flemish Baroque painting and who it is believed made her career mostly in the new Dutch Republic during the period of the Dutch Golden Age. Peeters is the earliest significant woman painter of the Dutch Golden Era and was unusual for her time in being a female painter—she was from Antwerp, Belgium. The current location of the original work is The Mauritshuis in The Hague.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
