I can still remember an old-timer (now long-timer) listening to me at the meeting before the meeting when he was brewing the coffee and I was brand new. He told me to stick with the winners. Not the ones with the shiny toys or the fancy clothes or the cool friends. The ones that were OK in their own skins. The ones that worked the program and had a relationship with a Higher Power. It was a great piece of advice then, and remains so to this day.
