Steamer City of New York - Louis Pesha - D&C Line Postcard

Built by Detroit Dry Dock Co. in Wyandotte, Michigan, 1883.Lake Huron Divison of Detroit & Cleveland line. Renamed City of Mackinac in 1919. Dismantled at Chicago, 1936, and rebuilt as barge, serving as club house for yacht club, at Foot of Randolph Street, Chicago. Suffered a fire and sank, 1954; but was rebuilt with different houses. Photo by famous Great Lakes photographer, Louis Pesha on the St. Clair River.
