Stately Garden in Mallorca (by Santiago Rusiñol) Ceramic Tile

This design features a painting by the Spanish Post-Impressionist artist Santiago Rusiñol (1861–1931). It shows an elegant staircase in the fine grounds and gardens of a stately home. The stairs are made of luxurious stone and there are peacocks with beautiful tailfeathers walking up the staircase. There are statues of human figures alongside the stairs too. The surrounding greenery is extremely well manicured and cared for. There are all kinds of trees and plants and flowers growing in the garden. The grand house where the garden is situated is in Palma de Malloca, the capital city of the Balearic Island of Mallorca. The original artwork was painted by Santiago Rusiñol in 1912.
