The design of the flag of Iowa consists of three vertical stripes arranged in the following order: blue, white, and red. The blue stripe is nearest to the staff, and the white stripe is in the centre. On the central white stripe of the flag, a spreading eagle is holding blue streamers in its beak. The blue streamers have the state motto, "Our liberties we prize and our rights we will maintain," inscribed in white letters. Below the streamers, the word "Iowa" is written in red letters. 100% cotton so perfect for summer, It is a nicely designed t-shirt, the fabric is soft and the seams finished well, the body of the t shirt has no side seams. I bought a medium size for my two grandsons, aged 9 and 8 it will be slightly big on them but I would rather that than too small
