"Stars Under Snow" Canvas Art Poster
This Poster or Canvas Art Print features the "Stars Under Snow" painting by the artist Lorenzo Di Mauro. It depicts a pack of wolves in a snow-clad forest in the golden light of sunset. The alpha male approaches a snowbank attracted by flashes sparkling like stars under snow. They are weapons semi- buried in the snow. Looking closely you recognise a shield, a helmet, jambs, brassards, a battle horn and a shining sword, appearing from the melting snowpack. Perhaps the remains of a warrior fallen in battle. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
