    Sea Stars or starfish are well known in the Cannon Beach, Oregon area. Nestled at the base of Haystack Rock are these massive, gorgeous creatures. I've read that a few years ago a significant number of them died, but that the population has started to return. Having not been back in several years, I can't corroborate this. However I've loved that I was able to see them while travelling, and feel fortunate that I captured some shots of these fascinating creatures.
