This purple and orange sea creature is actually a Royal Sea Star, or a Purple and Orange Sea Star. These beautiful purple starfish are oddities - even the locals love to stop and look at these little sea creatures when they wash up on the beach. These little starfish sea stars are dark purple in colour, with an orange edging all around. I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her.
