“Planning the Bunny Heist” was inspired by the jackrabbits of Regina, Saskatchewan. They gather in groups, loiter in parks, and stand up on their hind legs to judge you as you walk by. I swear they are planning something…a hostile takeover, or an elaborate heist…they are definitely shifty! This illustration was digitally created using photographs and the Procreate app. The palette was made from a photo of the fall leaves, and the jacket and “bunnyhug” (that’s Saskatchewan for hoodie) were digitally collaged. I hope you like it as much as I do, it is one of my favorites!
