St. Peter of Aleut Orthodox Christian Prayer Card
St. Peter the Aleut was born in the early 19th century. He was a native of Kodiak Island, Alaska and baptised into the Orthodox faith by the monks of St Herman's missionaries. He was captured by Spanish soldiers and tortured and killed at the behest of a group of Roman Catholic priests when the Aleuts refused to convert to Roman Catholicism.
