St. Mary's Church, Berlin, Germany, Fernsehturm Poster

"St. Mary's Church, Berlin, Germany, Near the Television Tower" by Catherine Sherman. Historic architecture meets modern engineering as a church and a tall television tower stand side by side under a bright, partly cloudy sky. People walk along the pathway surrounded by lush green trees, highlighting the blend of nature and urban design. The historic architecture of St. Mary's Church meets modern engineering as the church and a tall television tower (Fernsehturm) stand close under a bright, partly cloudy sky in Berlin, Germany. People walk along the pathway surrounded by lush green trees, highlighting the blend of nature and urban design. St. Mary's Church, known in German as the Marienkirche or St.-Marien-Kirche, is a church in Berlin, Germany. It is located on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße (formerly Kaiser-Wilhelm-Straße) in central Berlin, near Alexanderplatz. The exact age of the original church site and structure is not precisely known. The architecture of the building is now largely composed of comparatively modern restoration work which took place in the late 19th century and in the post-war period. The church was originally a Roman Catholic church, but has been a Lutheran Protestant church since the Reformation in 1539. The Fernsehturm (Television Tower) in central Berlin, Germany, was constructed between 1965 and 1969 by the government of the German Democratic Republic, or East Germany, as both a functional broadcasting facility and a symbol of Communist power. It remains a landmark from its position next to Alexanderplatz in the city's Marien Quarter, part of the district of Mitte, visible across most suburban districts of Berlin. It is the tallest structure in Germany at 1,207 feet (368 metres) including antenna and the third-tallest structure in the European Union.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
