St Junípero Serra Ferrer, Order of Friars Minor Spanish (November 24, 1713 – August 28, 1784) Catholic Saint - Santo Catolico He was beatified by Pope John Paul II on September 25, 1988, and Canonised 27 years later, by Pope Frances on September 23, 2015 during his first visit to the United States. The Saint founded a mission in Baja California and the first nine of 21 Spanish missions in California from San Diego to San Francisco. He began in San Diego on July 16, 1769, and established Mission San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo in today's Carmel, California.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
